This week, we’re shining the spotlight on the newest member of our kitchen crew — Jack, our Apprentice Chef!
Jack might be fresh to The Falcon, but he’s already made a brilliant impression. With his enthusiasm, attention to detail, and positive energy, he’s quickly become a valued part of the team.

Life Beyond The Falcon
When Jack isn’t busy learning the ropes behind the pass, you’ll likely find him out on his Honda motorbike, keeping up with his fitness, or spending quality time with friends. Cooking has always been a passion for him, and when the opportunity to join The Falcon came up, he jumped at it. It wasn’t just because we’re local — Jack had heard great things about The Falcon growing up, and now he’s part of the story himself.
Jack’s Falcon Favourites
Naturally, we had to ask Jack about his go-to order from the menu. Here’s what he chose:
Starter: Homemade Scotch Egg
Steak: 16oz Ribeye, Medium Rare
Sides: Creamed Wild Mushrooms, Homemade Onion Rings, and Chunky Chips
Extras: Extra Onion Rings & Falcon Beef Dripping
Dessert: Classic Banoffee Pie
Drink of Choice: An ice-cold Coca-Cola
Safe to say, Jack’s menu picks are as bold and hearty as his new role in the kitchen!
What Jack Loves About The Falcon
Even though he’s only worked a few shifts so far, Jack already feels at home. As he puts it:
“Even though I’ve only worked a couple of shifts, everyone’s been so kind and easy to talk to. The atmosphere is great, there’s always plenty to do to keep me busy, and I’m really enjoying my time here already!”
