Here’s brother Dan (good-looking chap, isn’t he?). He’s a beef cattle farmer, just like his father before him, and his father before that! The cattle he rears provide food for local butchers and award-winning steaks for us here at The Falcon Steakhouse.

Today, along with his wife Bree, Dan is in London protesting the proposed inheritance tax changes, which could cripple independent farms by forcing them to sell their land just to cover the increased tax bills outlined in the recent budget. It’s like asking a supermarket to sell its shop floor, a gardener to sell their lawnmower, or a steakhouse to sell its grill just to pay the bills—it’s simply not justifiable.

As British farmers march through London to make their voices heard, we at The Falcon Steakhouse want to express our unwavering support. Farmers are the backbone of our food system, providing the high-quality, sustainably-raised beef and produce that we proudly serve to our guests every day.

Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence deserve recognition and fair treatment. Without them, there’s no farm-to-fork journey—only empty plates.

We encourage everyone to take a moment to appreciate the vital role farmers play in our lives. To all the farmers marching today: we stand with you.

Chosen charity of the month!

Here's Andy giving £944.18 to Chris from Wotton-under-Edge based charity The Keepers. Along with money given by our customers, here at The Falcon Steakhouse, we give a % of our sales each month to a Wotton-based charity, club, or group. This also includes a very generous donation of £50 from the Cotswold metal detecting club-Thanks guys!

The donation will go towards the running of our community hub, a group that gives so much back to the residents of our amazing town with some truly amazing volunteers at the wheel!

This month, we'll be donating money to the kindergarten pre school here in town!

Garlic, thyme and rosemary. 3 of the greatest flavours known to man, and they've been on a low simmer in a lard and oil blend all service! We'll strain it last thing tonight and then allow it to set in the fridge overnight. It's this amazing tallow that will give our roast potatoes their amazing flavour and crispiness.
We've had incredible reviews for our roast, and this is one of the reasons why!
